Sen. Mwadkwon Simon Davou

Born in 1961 the lawmaker is currently serving his first term as a Senator representing Plateau North Senatorial District on the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the 10th Assembly. Senator Mwadkwon ventured into mainstream politics in 2008. He was elected Executive Chairman of Riyom Local Government Council in 2009 and served in that position until 2011. In 2011, he was elected into the House of Representatives to represent Barkin Ladi/ Riyom federal constituency, and  re-elected in 2019.
